Welcome Parents!

Thank you for your commitment to Summit School. We’re honored to be a part of your child’s journey to achieve their highest potential. Summit is fortunate to have a wonderful group of parents and extended families that support our students, teachers and staff. We’re so thankful that you’re a part of our thriving community. The resources below are available to help you get involved and navigate your Summit experience. If you have general questions or need help, feel free to contact us at info@summitschool.org.

Attendance Notifications And/Or Questions

If your Summit student will be absent, please inform the school by using the attendance notification email Attendance.Notifications@summitschoolaz.org and also copy your child’s homeroom teacher so that they are aware of the absence. This email will connect you to the Office Manager, the Assistant Head of School, and the Health and Front Desk Assistant. You may also use this email to ask an attendance-related question. For example:

  • “My child received a flu shot and now has a fever. Should he come to school?” or “One of our family members isn’t feeling well. Should my child attend school virtually or in-person?”
  • notify the school that you need to pick your child up early
  • notify the school that your child has an appointment
  • notify the school that your child will be tardy

Notifications to this email address will be answered by an Administrative team member as soon as possible.

Who is Summit PTO?

The Summit PTO is the parent teacher organization at Summit School. The PTO is comprised of parent volunteers and teacher representatives. As a parent of a child attending Summit School, you are a member of the PTO. The PTO relies on parent volunteers to plan and organize all of its programs and events. The possibilities for involvement are varied, flexible, and manageable to allow our families to feel connected to the heart of our school. Our community needs your gift of time, talent, and support to ensure the success of the parent teacher organization.
