Toddler Discoveries is a developmentally appropriate and fun-filled experience for adventurous young children, 18 to 36 months of age, AND their adult companion.
Join preschool educator Lisa Stearns-Hayes for two hours of exploration, play, art, music, movement, and discovery every week right in the heart of Summit School’s NAEYC accredited preschool! Adults will also have an opportunity to discuss relevant “Toddler Topics” with an experienced teacher.
Who: Children 18 to 36 months attend with their adult companion
When: 9 AM – 11 AM, on each of the following Thursday mornings
February 6, 13, 20, 27
March 5, 19, 26 (no class on March 12)
April 2, 16, 23, 30 (no class on April 9)
Where: In the heart of Summit School Preschool
Cost: $240 per child, check payable to Summit School
*$50 fee per older sibling, to cover snack/material costs (This is only applicable if you’re bringing an older sibling along with a toddler)
Toddler Discoveries Class Daily Schedule:
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. -Classroom exploration: enjoy a multitude of activities including art, building, fine motor activity, dramatic play and more!
10:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. -Circle time: enjoy stories and songs in a group setting
10:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. -Snack time and story time
10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. -Outdoor gross motor play and goodbye circle
To Enroll: Return the registration form, immunization records (if a new student or have an updated
record), and a check to the school’s front desk.
