“Summit prepared me so well for high school and beyond. I learned valuable people skills, and a strong academic background has allowed me to take upper level classes in high school, and earn college credit before I even graduate high school. I was able to test out of lower level Spanish, Math, and Science classes, and get into the honors and AP program. I also gained the ability to talk to teachers when I need help, which has helped me so much. I am currently a junior at Desert Vista High School, and I am so thankful for my teachers at Summit who taught me these skills and more!”

“Summit has been a wonderful place to learn and grow as a student and as a person. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to study here this last decade. The teachers are all so understanding and really C.A.R.E. about you, your ideas, and your life. The education was phenomenal and very hands-on. I think Summit is as close as you can get to a flawless education.”

“I can honestly say that I do not think I would be where I am today without the nine years I spent at Summit. I learned how to read, write, and comprehend at a level that prepared me for high school English courses, I received a strong basic  understanding of the core sciences that helped me through my high school science classes, I got a solid background in Spanish, and I was able to place out of freshman math courses upon entering high school.”

“Summit gave me a safe space to learn and grow into the person I am now. I first latched onto the idea of living in New York and working in the Arts while I was at Summit and I don’t know if I would have actually made it to NYC without the support of Summit’s amazing teachers, who gave me the confidence in my academics and my ambitions that I needed to make it happen. I’ll never be able to thank them enough for their trust, their guidance, and their friendship!”

“At Summit we started having classes in the science lab in kindergarten, and I have always loved science. All of the topics that we covered in 7th and 8th grade year could not have prepared me any better for my freshman chem-phys class or my sophomore biology class. By learning all of these topics in advance, it made high school science so much more enjoyable and understandable. Thank you Mrs. Yocum, for sparking my love of the sciences!

“One of Summit’s strengths is the ability to bring out the best within its students; kids can develop their logic skills in Mrs. Yocum’s science classes, while also cultivating their creativity as part of Chris Dorsey’s band. The school environment is geared towards building a stronger all-around person, so that no matter what discipline a student chooses to pursue, they have the ability to utilize more than one intellectual strength in their endeavors – something which I would say is absolutely necessary to be successful.”
