Take Your Parent to PE Week (during your child’s PE class)
September 25, 2018
In celebration of our Physical Education Program, we invite you to participate with your child during this exciting event!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Bring Your Parents to PE Week is an event designed to give each and every parent the opportunity to sample the Physical Education Program at Summit School with their child. It is a national event sponsored by Active Schools (https://www.activeschoolsus.org/).
When to Come: During your child’s PE class(es) during the scheduled week.
What to Bring: Appropriate attire, including sneakers and comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You may also want to bring a water bottle.
What to Expect: This is a hands-on experience! Come ready to engage in games and activities planned for your child’s PE class. We understand that adults do not move in the same ways as children, so you can play at your own comfort level. Some of the activities are from OPEN, which is a curriculum resource our school uses to enhance our PE program.
RSVP Details: Please check in at the front office and pick up a visitor name tag!
If you have any questions, please feel free to email Kathy.firstname.lastname@example.org.
