Preschool Learning in Chandler Starts Here
Preschool age children are in a constant state of growth and at Summit School of Ahwatukee our preschool curriculum is play-based. This engages students with learning in a way they readily identify with and works with their unique way of experiencing the world. As an NAEYC accredited preschool in Chandler we’ve conscientiously tailored our preschool learning exercises to engage the senses, interests, and wonder that inspire children aged 2 ½ to 5 to learn and grow.
Our preschool programs integrate nature into the everyday.
Our robust park/playground area is designed for developing preschoolers. It functions as a play area and outdoor classroom where students can improve social and gross motor skills. Multisensory tables are made for interaction. This promotes sharing and helps to develop friendships and strong bonds from a young age.
Preschool activities and lesson plans promote growth in areas that include:
- Cognitive abilities
- Language acquisition
- Physical capabilities
- Social and emotional well-being
- Social studies

Our leading Toddler Discoveries program brings children aged 18 to 36 months and their adult companions into the classroom. This provides you with the opportunity to experience your child learning first-hand. Our Toddler Discoveries preschool program meets weekly and connects parents with their child’s education through group singing, hands-on play, story time, and more. Helping your child to develop creates a lasting educational bond that they will carry with them.
Studies have shown that one of the most important factors in a preschool aged child’s success is their parental involvement. That’s why our parents and teachers form close partnerships and regularly communicate. The success of your child is our greatest accomplishment, and our degreed, experienced, and compassionate preschool teachers work faithfully to make sure your child succeeds.
