Welcome Parents!
This section of the website is designed to help you stay on top of what’s happening in your child’s classroom and at the school in general. Here you’ll find a number of resources for parents, including the school calendar, volunteer opportunities, information on BEST (your parent organization), a link to the parent handbook, and access to Summit’s library catalog.
What Parents Receive: Communication is Key!
Weekly written updates are posted by teachers for each grade, and for Summit’s classes dedicated to Art, Music, Spanish, Science, Technology, Physical Education and Library. Teachers also provide details about fieldtrips, special events, projects, important classroom dates, volunteer opportunities, information on BEST (Summit’s parent organization), after school activities, a link to the parent handbook, and access toSummit’s library catalog.
The details on the parent page foster meaningful communication between children and parents about their educational experiences. Parents stay involved and students feel supported.
