Head Of School
OVERVIEW OF HEAD OF SCHOOL POSITION
The Head of School at Summit School will lead a toddler through eighth grade, private, independent school that equips creative innovators by providing a safe and joyful place for students to discover and achieve their full potential. We are seeking a dynamic professional who brings creativity, passion, and strategic vision to guide the school as a thought and practice leader in challenging, applied, content mastery, and social-emotional growth. As the educational leader, the Head displays a genuine commitment to student success and achievement, supports and motivates teachers to excel in their teaching and learning endeavors, and supports the fiscally responsible operations of the school. The Head works closely with the Board of Trustees and the Director of Business Operations, develops relationships with all relevant constituencies in the school and community, and strives to engage all members of the school community in the successful implementation of Summit’s mission and vision.

Head Of OPERATIONS
OVERVIEW OF HEAD OF OPERATIONS POSITION
The Head of Operations oversees the efficient, effective, and financially responsible operations of Summit School, partnering with the Head of School and the Board of Trustees to provide a safe, supportive, and sustainable environment for the Summit community inclusive of staff, students, and families. The Director maintains responsibility – either directly or through oversight of additional staff roles – of Summit school’s fiscal management, financial systems, admissions and marketing program, human resources, and facilities management.

Substitute Teacher – Preschool through 8th Grade
Start Date: School Year – Ongoing
Work Hours: As scheduled by school
Rate of Pay: $150 (School Day of 7 hours or more) or $18.75 per hour
Job Description
We are seeking dynamic and experienced Substitute Teachers to join our unique Summit community! We also have opportunities for substitute teaching in our specials classes; Spanish, Physical Education, Science, Technology, Art, Music, and the IDEA Lab.

Licensing/Certifications:

Arizona State Teaching Certificate or Substitute Teaching certificate (preferred)

Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
